The Scientific Method

The Scientific Method is process for experimentation and it serves to explore observations and answer many questions to do with the experiment. Scientists used this process during the scientific revolution to help them find errors or unseen facts in the experiment. It is also a way of evaluating cause and effects such as an experiment that has to do with the scientific nature.

The Scientific Method has 6 steps: Ask A Question, Background Research, Construct Hypothesis, Experiment, Analyze Data, Conclusion. Using these 6 steps, any experiment can be observed and evaluated.

An experiment that would require the scientific method will be one of the first prominent questions asked; the question of the earths revolution around the sun. The Hypothesis for this question may be or may not be correct, the hardest part would be that of experimenting whether the sun revolves around the earth or the earth revolving around the sun. During the time this question was asked, it would be impossible for nearly anyone to attempt and prove it.

Though scientists during the era would construct on a tool that would predict the movements/position of the stars and make a great change in the world of astronomy. Finally and only then they have the data to support the theory, and draw a conclusion suitable enough for this experiment. So the scientific method was an useful way of observing and analyzing data.
